Katrina + Justin’s engagement session at Port Bruce Beach, Ontario, unfolded like a late-summer daydream along the Lake Erie shoreline.

We started with quiet, barefoot moments in the sand as the lake shimmered silver beside them, gulls drifting overhead and a soft breeze rolling in off the water. From the very beginning, everything felt easy and unforced. It was just the two of them settling into the moment together.

As the sun dipped lower, they let go of any hesitation and made their way into the water, laughing so hard they could barely stay upright as the waves rushed in. Every splash turned into another burst of laughter. They were completely carefree, soaked, and fully wrapped up in each other.

This is one of those sessions we’ll always remember because the laughter was never-ending, and the love between them radiated so naturally that our job was effortless. There was no faking a single moment; just real connection, real joy, and a couple completely present with each other.

By the end, the lake had become the perfect backdrop for a session that felt less like posing and more like simply living in the moment together.
