Claire & Evan’s Backyard Wedding

The Story
Claire and Evan planned a backyard wedding that felt more like a summer dinner party with their closest people. Held at Evan’s childhood home in Komoka, the day was filled with quiet nostalgia and joyful simplicity — just the way they wanted it.
They wrote their vows the night before and read them aloud to each other during their first look, tucked behind the old shed where Evan used to play. The ceremony was short and sweet, with guests gathered in a half-circle, holding lemonade and crying happy tears.
Afterward, long tables were set under twinkling lights, and dinner was served family-style. There were no grand entrances or choreographed dances — just laughter, soft music, and the occasional toast that made everyone cry. It was a perfect day.

“We didn’t want anything big or flashy, just a day that felt like us — and that’s exactly what Joseph and Kim captured. They felt like part of the family. We couldn’t be happier.”
